SPICY CRANBERRY

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 c. sour cream or buttermilk
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
1/2 c. canned cranberry sauce
Cream shortening and brown sugar. Add eggs, sift flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and
soda. Add the creamed mixture with sour cream and cranberry sauce. Bake in
muffin pans at 350 degrees 20 to 25 minutes. Hoffman
